The formal announcement of five LG RG Series ProBeam projectors has been made. With a 4K resolution and 6,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, the top-of-the-line BU60RG model is ideal for conference rooms and commercial areas. Additional capabilities include compatibility with Crestron RoomView, several aspect ratios, and sophisticated image-perfecting tools.
The throw ratio, resolution, and maximum brightness are the three main variations amongst the five new models. ProBeam BU60RG and ProBeam BU50RG are 4K UHD variants with peak brightness ratings of 6,000 and 5,000 ANSI lumens, respectively. The WUXGA resolution and brightness of the ProBeam BF60RG and ProBeam BF50RG are the same at 6,000 or 5,000 ANSI lumens. In contrast, the 4K UHD ProBeam BU53RG, which debuted last year, has a short throw ratio and a brightness of up to 5,000 ANSI lumens.
Aspect ratios available on the projectors include 4:3, 16:10, and 21:9, with the latter being best matched to Microsoft Teams Front Row features. Additionally, you may correct warping across up to 25 points and refine the image with new, sophisticated tools for edge modification. Additional features include the webOS Signage 6.0 digital signage platform, support for Creston RoomView, and integrated twin 5W speakers. The new LG RG Series ProBeam projectors are priced starting at $2,900.
