Lian Li Lancool 3 review with two different setups
Prawn here with a review of the Lian Li Lancool 3. I bought this case because I needed one capable of taking a 420mm radiator (the Corsair H170i Elite Capellix XT https://youtu.be/GjUxyMsU2xY) and then I created a build on it (see here https://youtu.be/YAo_lym0PQc) and have also gone back to revisit it by swapping out the standard fans with Lian Li SL-Inf 140 fans (see https://youtu.be/6HUpX6v1qTE).
The Lian Li Lancool 3 is interesting in multiple ways, as it's a solidly built case that has an insane amount of mounting points for SSDs and HDDs. It also houses a 420mm cooler on the top but manages to do it with style. I.e. it's not too tight, which is mad. The guide does note that you need to remove the rear fan, have the tubes at the rear and use low profile RAM but otherwise it's fairly simple.
Features of the Lancool 3 include:
Mid-tower modular chassis for all kinds of configurations
Equipped with 4 × 140 PWM fans (3 ARGB and 1 non-RGB)
Featured airflow optimized mesh structure and hinged side panels
Supports up to 420 radiator or 3 x 360 radiators and a maximum of 10 fans
Offers 12 storage drives mounting locations
Upgraded cable management solution for a clean build
