Lian Li Wireless Strimer Setup guide - easy RGB extension for your 24 pin and 12VHPWR cables
342Prawn here with an in-depth look at the wireless Lian Li Strimers. These are RGB extension cables and new models that are "wireless" - in that they don't require any additional wiring besides plugging them into the PSU power cables. These use a wireless controller which plugs into the back of your motherboard (or inside the case) and then allows you to control the RGB lighting using L Connect.
In this video I'm showing you how to setup and wire these cables into your system. with everything you need to know on how to do it, what's required and some hints for troubleshooting.
Note that there are different versions available. These can be bought with and without the controller. There's also CPU EPS cables coming in future. And you can get a 12vhpwr cable or 8 pin PCIe power cables for your GPU.
