Libram Paladin in Legend | 4-0 run | Tips and gameplay | Hearthstone - Madness at the Darkmoon Faire
Hey guys, to be honest, I don't think I can do 50 games. I'm still bad at cutting videos and I think I need a change in software as well.
Anyway, I think Broom Paladin is always going to be one of my best decks. It's pretty obvious with all my recent videos. You should still consider this to get to Legend, or even use it in Legend, because my stats are almost always great. I'm the type of player who changes every 2-3 consecutive losses, and I gotta tell you, I seldom have to when I use this deck.
Again, I'm no where near the most competitive ranks in Legend, but I still have a net positive winrate for the past months on Ladder. The goal is to get x11 multiplier, and I hope to get there soon.

TIPS
00:14 - Libram Paladin VS Aggro Rogue
In general, vs aggro rogues, whether it be pure Face or a version using Self-Sharpening Sword, the idea is to get sweepers or heals early. This isn't a very consistent thing to do, especially because the earliest heal is Amber Watcher for 5 mana, and Libram of Hope and Libram of Judgment need to be discounted to get that big heal faster (not to mention that you have to corrupt Libram of Judgement first.
On the play, I would keep the 0 to cast spells and Aldor Attendants. Wild Pyromancer is debatable, maybe if I had an Aldor attendant and a Libram of Wisdom, it's a good keep against this matchup. Otherwise, just keep Wild Pyromancer on the draw. It's good not to play First Day of School early on to maximize a sweep on those stealth minions using Wild Pyromancer. Also, on the coin, it is essential to keep an Animated Broomstick and/or a Lord Barov. On the play, you might want to think about this much more beforehand first, because it would depend on the other cards in your hand.
8:55 - Libram Paladin VS Ramp Paladin
The thing is, you wouldn't know during the mulligan if you're facing Ramp Paladin. Let's just assume 90% of your meta is using Ramp Paladin for the sake of argument.
Keep Lord Barov. Keep Animated Broomstick. Keep any Aldor cards. This may be a tough match, but winnable. A well timed sweep on a Tip the Scales turn can turn the game around. If you're greedy, maybe on the draw keeping big stuff like Libram of Hope is nice. But I would prioritize sweepers. Wild Pyromancer + Libram of Justice, or Lord Barov and Animated Broomstick. Look for Salhet's Pride as well if you've got Lord Barov already. These are all better scenarios and a better matchup of you're on the coin too, since High Abness Alura of Ramp would need a Wandmaker to work.
I misplayed here kind of. Make sure that if you're gonna win with Pen Flinger, your Librams of Wisdom can be repeated. I kinda put everything on one minion that got so big, it wouldn't die, so I almost lost because I couldn't activate another set of Pen Flingers. Take note of this!
23:26 - Libram Paladin VS Mozaki Mage
Alright, not much of a guide here. This is a VERY bad matchup, probably the worst. I just got lucky I guess? Because the opponent focused on killing my minions when I presented no lethals anytime soon anyway. So that's the idea, fill your board as quickly as you can. They generally don't have sweepers especially for big minions, so try to develop and think about your mulligan with this gameplan in mind against them.
30:44 - Small Spell Mage
I think I faced here some sort of tempo type of mage that wasn't really burn-oriented. In either case, since this isn't otk like Mozaki, keeping heals is a great idea in the mulligan. I mean, again, you can't know during the mulligan if you're facing a combo deck, so in general, against Mage in this meta, I think you have to prioritize healing stuff, next is sweepers. It's different from the Aggro Rogue where you really need sweepers. The minions here don't hurt much, but Spell Damage kinda does too as the game progresses.
