LibreQuake is a collection of assets for playing Quake 1 with a free open source BSD license. The Quake 1 game engine code has long been open sourced, but some assets were not free. LibreQuake allows Quake 1 to be used and packaged without non-free assets. LibreQuake is under active development and this footage is from the 5th anniversary deathmatch game today on some work-in-progress deathmatch maps.
