*don't hold the petals over the flame for a long time. Just hold it short and drag it to the side, and into the flame again - do this as many times as you need to.

So the gist is that you should attempt to drage the arms away, but if you experience that the boy becomes a silhuette but the 'minigame' starts over, then close down your game and try again, it's a bug.
