Life is Strange Remastered | Episode 3 - Chaos Theory, Part 2
Life is Strange Remastered | Episode 3 - Chaos Theory, Part 2
Their night time investigations at Blackwell done, Max and Chloe reward themselves with a "splish splash" in the pool, with a narrow escape. With Max crashing over at Chloe's, things come to a head the next day with David's paranoid behaviour.
This video features part 2 of my play through of Episode 3 - Chaos Theory, presented in a multi-part more 'bite sized' format. The aim is to break at dramatic story points roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour. All licenced music is intact as usual, the music being integral to Life is Strange's mood.
-------------
The content is completely as played, with only minor editing for entertainment reasons to remove loading screens, gameplay breaks and a couple of restart check points due to close to release date glitches present. Notably there seems to be a recurring issue with the subtitles failing to load, instead displaying the filename of the vocal track playing! It always happens soon after a checkpoint/loading screen and a quick restart checkpoint seems to fix it. The subitles failed to load at all for the final scene at the lighthouse; I fixed this by making my own subtitles by hand, which took a while to do!

About the first game 'Life is Strange'
Life is Strange is a five-part episodic adventure game that sets out to revolutionize story-based choice and consequence games. It is developed by DONTNOD Entertainment and published by Square Enix. The developers describe the game as a nostalgic coming-of-age story that combines the present with the past, creating key moments for each episode. Episode 1, "Chrysalis", was released on January 29, 2015 and the final episode, "Polarized", was released on October 20, 2015.
The characters have to deal with everyday life issues created by their own families and school mates, and as you can expect in a typical public high school environment, there is a lot of high school drama, and sometimes teens make bad decisions. Players will be given the opportunity to make choices while playing Max, and each choice will have consequences in gameplay. Her ability to 'rewind time' will impact the game's narrative. There are multiple endings depending on the choices the player makes for Max. The game has a licensed indie soundtrack and hand-painted visuals.
The game approaches real world issues and problematic situations such as depression, bullying, suicide, domestic violence, mental illness and the loss of loved ones.
