Life is Strange: True Colors Steam save file bug to be fixed today
A bug causing ‘Life is Strange: True Colors’ players to not be able to save their progress when playing on PC via Steam is to be fixed today.
The graphic adventure game – developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix – recently released on September 9 but players have experienced several bugs and glitches since its launch.
To combat this, Deck Nine has encouraged users from all platforms to go to the game’s official subreddit to report any bugs, “especially if it is not listed as a known issue” so that they may work towards a fix and roll out patches over the next few weeks.
As part of the first patch that will be released today, September 20, the team has addressed ray-tracing issues across all platforms, resolved an issue with pre-order outfits for Stadia users and most importantly, implemented a fix for save file issues, black screen issues, and aggressive lighting issues that players faced with the Steam version.
The developer also explained that while they aim to get out fixes as soon as possible, the team still has to go through various testing to ensure “they aren’t creating any unexpected new issues” and it must then be approved by platforms before they can be released.
