Apex Legends server issues may not be fixed for a few more days
‘Apex Legends’ server issues may not see a full fix until September 22, developer Respawn Entertainment has revealed.
The battle royale game has been seeing a bout of instability with its servers since September 14, causing several players to disconnect from matches and uncertainty for ranked competitive ‘Apex’ players, who risk losing points if disconnected.
Respawn has been working on finding a fix and even increased server capacity to help but despite their efforts, they say the game is currently “seeing roughly three times the normal rate of disconnect errors”.
In a post on Twitter, they wrote: “Despite improvements, we're still seeing roughly three times the normal rate of disconnect errors in @PlayApex, and a full return to normal may take until our next planned patch on Sept 22.”
They also revealed that they will be extending the current ranked split by one week in an update that will go live today, September 20.
