Life is Strange: True Colours - Walkthrough - Chapter 2 Lanterns - Part 1
04:00 - The first choice of the chapter will come at Gabe's wake, Ryan will confront Mac, angrily accusing him of ignoring Gabe's call to halt the scheduled detonation in the mine. To this, Mac will say he got no such call and Gabe must have made a mistake. Ryan will then turn to Alex for validation, asking you to support his claim since you heard Gabe make the call. Where Alex didn't directly hear the call, telling the truth isn't the ideal way to go in this scenario if you want to progress the friendship or romance with Ryan. Siding with Ryan and lying will accuse Mac of negligence. Something definietly doesn't add up with his story.
12:00 - When Steph comes into the apartment, Alex can use her power to try and make her feel better. After approaching her and using the empathy power, this will highlight certain items around the apartment with a soft blue glow. You have to find and use Alex's power on the record player, the foosball table, the video game case, the foosball champion trophy and the glasses on the shelf in the kitchen area. You'll know you've found everything relevant when Alex says that she has enough to go on to comfort Steph. When you approach Steph, the subject you want to bring up is playing foosball. It doesn't matter too much whether you win or lose, but if you win the third match, Alex will act like an entitled champ and Steph will be reminded of the fun she's had with Gabe as a result.
26:00 - When Steph leaves, Alex can clean up the apartment by cleaning the dirty clothes hanging on the staircase, cleaning up the old tv dinner beside the sofa and doing the dishes in the sink. Alex can also head up to the roof garden and sit in the chair for a monologue about how she is feeling. On the left side of the roof you can use your empathy power on the Button in the planter. This will unlock the 8th achievement of the game "Time For Something New".
34:00 - When you head down to the bar area, go towards the exit door at the back and use Alex's powers on the Umbrella in the corner beside the coat stand. This will unlock the 9th achievement of the game "Umbrella ".
35:35 - Pick up the chair that's lying on the ground to progress the story.
41:00 - Go behind the bar and use Alex's powers on the Rent Check in the corner. This will unlock the 10th achievement of the game "No Handouts". Look at the memory table for Gabe, Alex will say she should put something on it from her. Head back up to the apartment and choose either the music album or the family photo, bring it downstairs and add it to the table. You can also go to the pool table area and move the darts around so they make either a sad or happy face.
45:45 - Go to the right, towards the dock area and enjoy a quite moment of reflection which is one of the stats at the end of the chapter. Then head across the street to the park across from The Black Lantern Bar. Use Alex's power on the Bird Watcher standing at the entrance to the right. After reading their emotion speak with them. Now run behind the building to the left of the Bird Watcher. There will be a hawk in the tree behind the brick wall you'll need to look at. Once Alex has acknowledged noticing the bird, head back to the Bird Watcher and talk to them. This will unlock the 11th achievement of the game "Bird Spotting".
49:50 - Go to Charlottes shop, the dispensary, to speak with her. She'll confide in you that she's struggling with her own grief, helping Ethan, and dealing with Typhon--the mining company responsible for Gabe's death. Charlotte will tell you that Typhon has sent her a document for an enormous settlement, provided she agrees to immediately not press charges about Gabe's death. It's a shady deal, but she could also use the money to support Ethan's future. She'll ask Alex what to do. If you want Charlotte to stand up for Alex at the end of the game tell her to turn down the offer.
56:45 - After speaking with Charlotte, head to the room at the back of the store. In the right corner of the shop you can use Alex's powers on the Gummies. This will unlock the 12th achievement of the game "Pro Tip".
58:00 - Now head to the record store, use Alex's powers on the Hoodie Guy. After Alex has read his emotions, look at the bulletin board to the right to find out Chrissy is his lost dog. Speak with now to complete the side quest. This will unlock the 13th achievement of the game "Found Dog!"
1:03:30 - Speak with Steph at the radio booth, she'll tell you that she wants to plan a LARP for Ethan and will ask Alex to pick which villain should be the final boss. Both seem to be of equal strength so it really just comes down whichever one you like the most.
1:05:50 - Before leaving the record store, you can fill out Alex's character sheet for the LARP. Before you do, be sure to read the second issue of Ethan's comic beside it to reveal that the protagonist in Ethan's comic has a trusted companion by the name of Alwynn.
