Lightning has just defeated Noel Kreiss and completed Luxerion's main quest. Now, she teleports to the South Station and heads to the Cathedral. Outside the Cathedral, she finds Aremiah (time 1:26). She's tasked with looking after the saint ... wait a minute. V. is the saint? Pardon me while I roll my eyes. Unfortunately, a thief has stolen the saint's pendant. In order to get in to see the saint, Lightning must carry out the quest "The Saint's Stone" and retrieve the saint's Crystal Shard.

In search of the Crystal Shard, Lightning heads northwest to the warehouse district in the Back Alleys. She needs to chat with a Warehouse Employee standing on the northeast side of Chocobo Express near a bunch of crates (time 6:21). After the conversation, she must break optn the boxes with her weapon (time 7:43). One of the boxes contains the Crystal Shard.

On her way back to Aremiah, Lightning chats with a Sentry along the Pilgrim's Passage (time 9:30). He speaks of ghosts, and Lightning discovers the quest "Voices from the Grave."

Nice to see Noel actively patrolling the city now.

Aremiah is still outside the entrance to the cathedral (time 10:11). When Lightning hands over the Crystal Shard, Aremiah hands over a Service Entrance Key that will allow Lightning to use the cathedral's service entrance. Lightning will now be able to see the saint at night! For completing the quest "The Saint's Stone", Lightning will earn 500 gil, the Paladin garb, a Fragment Crystal, and boosts to Max HP and Magic.

When she reaches the Cathedral Plaza, Light uses her new key to get through the service entrance (time 12:37). She makes a beeline into the cathedral and along the Hall of Devotion. At the end, she will meet the "saint" in person (time 13:33). Apparently, the saint is now bosom buddies with our favorite troublemaker. In the scenes, we figure out that there is a dark secret deep inside the cathedral. I have to wonder: just what is Lumina planning?

After the chilling scene, Lightning heads back into the cathedral to chat with V. again (time 19:16). She will provide some background about her and her best friend. Her friend is looking for something called the Holy Clavis in the Dead Dunes. It sounds like Lightning had better help find this artifact.

And with this, Day 3 is now over (time 23:46). Hope tries to beam Lightning back up to the Ark, but instead she stops off for a scene with Lumina. So, we know who is responsible for that Oracle Drive recording. I should have known.

After the scene, Lightning arrives at the Ark (time 25:55). When she offers her Eradia to Yggdrasil, she learns that she has extended the world's time by two days. The treasure cube now contains a Black Mage garb and a White Mage garb (time 26:47).

Hope will have a little additional information about Noel, Sazh, Dajh, and Vanille (time 27:33).
