Summer of 2019 I played through all of the Final Fantasy XIII games. Nothing in my backlog was part of my shelf as long as Final Fantasy XIII, so I figured it was time to just go ahead and do the whole trilogy. It was a Final Fantasy marathon that I'm not gonna do again. Playing Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns back to back was gigantic undertaking. And Lightning Returns left me with a lot of thoughts and opinions.
Keep in mind that this was my first video essay I had done since 2015, and I was using the same aged equipment. There's a lot of rough spots, but I'm glad I did this. Make sure to check out the playlist linked below for my other essays.
