3,700Lightyear was an indisputable box office failure. Now Pixar boss Pete Docter is talking about what went wrong. And after some soul-searching, the problem is that they "asked too much of the audience." So, yeah, the audience was too dumb to get it. Or something. Or you could have just given people a PROPER Buzz Lightyear movie with Tim Allen and people probably would've LOVED it. So now we have to move on to Toy Story 5...
