Link to the Past - Map Screen Out of Bounds
The "input randomizer" from my NES input randomizer video is used on Link to the Past, resulting in this out of bounds glitch on the overworld map screen.
Recorded on a real console and game cart.
Edit: after testing this in an emulator, I was able to confirm that the trigger for this glitch is by placing the camera in one of three corners of the map (top right, bottom right, or bottom left), then performing an "illegal" d-pad input (up+down or left+right). When up and down are pressed, the game takes priority over down, and when left and right are pressed, the game takes priority over right. This means it will not work in the top left corner.
Doing one of these illegal inputs in any of the three corners will move the camera out of it's normal bounds by one pixel, after which you can freely move the camera out of bounds normally.
Doing this in-game will use either the downwards or right-facing walking animation, but will move Link either up or left, giving the appearance of a moonwalk.
