Display scaling and fractional scaling under X and Linux in general is a convoluted mess with too many different things to configure that all conflict with each other so today I thought why don't I go over a lot of the approaches and talk about how they work and if they actually make high DPI and high resolution monitors actually usable, short answer they sort of do, the long answer is this is a 25 minute video so it's not that simple to deal with.
