I find myself frequently losing my thumb drives every time I need to transfer a file between my devices and when I need to transfer a file from my phone that's even more of a hassle so why not just do it over my network and you can with a tool called oneshot which setups a single fire http server for you to send any file to and from any other device on your network and it runs in your terminal.
