Lionel Birnie
Lionel Birnie is a British sports journalist. He is a co-host, with Richard Moore and Daniel Friebe of the Cycling Podcast. In 2017 iNews listed their podcast among the best podcasts of 2017. In 2018 the trio published a book based on their podcasts.
Lionel Birnie is a sports journalist, author, publisher and co-founder of The Cycling Podcast. He has written about professional cycling for the Sunday Times, Procycling and Cycling Weekly. He first covered the Tour de France in 1999 and since 2013 has presented The Cycling Podcast with Richard Moore and Daniel Friebe.
In 2010, he founded Peloton Publishing and has ghostwritten and published the autobiographies of former England, Watford and Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor and Irish cyclist Sean Kelly.
