As requested by pabloblo2306, here's a rendition of Liszt's Vallée d'Obermann with the Pokémon BW soundfont.
Inspired by Senancour's novel "Obermann," this is an ultra-passionate tour de force of Romantic piano writing, oozing sentimentality from start to finish.
Its full-blooded Romanticism is also apparent in Liszt's ever-growing disregard for classical norms. Instead of following any established form, Liszt allows the music to flow and organically develop according to his internal feelings, instincts, extramusical connotations, or a combination of all of the above. Finally, the technical demands on the pianist are extremely demanding, but that's always a given with Liszt.
