Little Witch Nobeta Boss 2: Tania
13From moderately difficult suit of armor to the love child of Cirno from Touhou and Sans Undertale... ANYWAYS this fight is rough. The absolute safest strategy is to use the charged shots on your ice because they don't miss if you lock on and will do a lot of damage. However, a well timed arcane blast to her body will force her to block normally or if she's performing an attack will deal triple the amount of damage it would when blocked and stuns her for about 4 seconds. All of her attacks have audio telegraphs.
Whenever the head is doing a laser attack it makes a sound and the giant head gets a tattoo. Granted if she does the vertical lasers up close you're probably gonna get hit.
Her overhead fist slam has a little shockwave but the main tell when the fists are about to come down is when Tania swings her arms. This can be dodged easily or parried which is riskier but helpful.
Her charge attack caused her light up one or both of her hands and charge at you. This initial dash will go past you and do no damage it's a trick to catch you rolling early where she'll then uppercut you.
She has a vortex attack where she spreads her hands and has her body glow in phase 1 just run away it's easy.
She has a sudden leap and slam attack with one hand. It doesn't do much damage but it is hard to dodge.
She has a 5 hit combo attack that consists of 4 punches where the arm she raises tells which way she'll start the combo and she always ends with the dual fist slam. DO NOT PARRY the start of the combo in phase 1 you'll run out of I frames and get hit by the last punch. Parry or dodge the fist slam at the end.
Phase 2 makes things far more complicated.
Now the window to even stun or interrupt her with the arcane blast is much stricter
The punch combo now comes out much faster so you'll need to either be on point with your dodges or parry as it will no longer outlast your I frames.
The leap attack now uses both hands and causes a small AOE
The Fist slam causes a line of shockwaves
Her Vortex attack now shoots off 4 tracking orbs that do a lot of damage and can stun you on top of the vortex now sucking you in so you practically need to dodge through it then run to avoid the homing shots.
She now can hold up both hands and gather energy RUN IF SHE DOES THIS as she is about to unload a storm of lasers on you and if too many of these hit you could be one shot. They can be rolled away from but I find running to the left or right to be more consistent.
And that's the Tania Fight and I gotta say SHEESH this fight is hard. Sure she's the one fighting Nobeta in the official artwork but at the same time this is only the second boss and it is this complex.
