SlenderDan (Daniel) here for the next episode of Dying Light Custom Maps. For this episode I pick up my good mate’s Rick Grimes third custom map LittleBigWorld. This map is a little bitter sweet, because it’s amazing, but it’s also Rick Grimes’s last map, (until Multiplayer is enabled in the developer tools).

I just wanted to clear the air, there are issues with this map, such as spawn points to if you die it sends you back to the beginning, as well as parkour issues at the end. That’s why I enabled God Mode, so I could speed run the map and show it to you guys. After the map issues are fixed by Rick Grimes I may do another play through.

Throughout this map you will see wonders and perhaps even gasp a few times (or pee your pants…but that’s for another day). It’s simple you’re a tiny person in a massive house… or a massive house in a tiny person? (That sounds wrong). Throughout the map you must endure nail biting parkour challenges whilst moving through the house, if you touch the floor you die, if you fall you die, not to mention there are zombies, Rais’s men, Volatiles and special zombies. Additionally there are a few Easter eggs, and tools to help you get out of the house of hell.

I enjoyed this map very much, 9/10.

Pros:

1. Giant real life like world, each room filled with creative and realists furnishings

2. Crafty Parkour challenges

3. Amazing lighting

4. Awesome quest line

5. Map is hard as hell which make it even more amazing

6. A LOT of time was put into this map

Cons:

1. Spawn points are unforgiving, because of glitches, if you die on the stairs or anywhere after you will spawn at the beginning.

2. Parkour yellow bars at the end are placed to far into the wall so they’re fairly hard to grab onto

3. The ending was a little confusing because the quest line never finished, so there’s no way of knowing IF you finished.

All in all a VERY enjoyable map, if you enjoyed it too, head over to Rick Grimes on Steam and tell him to stay, I truly think that he is one of the best map developers on Steam and I’d had to see him go.
