SlenderDan (Daniel) here for a brand new series. Basically I just finished teaching myself, learning, and getting information from others about the Developer tools. I also just finished building my map “Stairway to Hell”. The Dying Light guides are good, but they are very vague. I decided to start a series so I could tell you guys about the different tools and how map building works.

In the very first episode I talk to you about finding the developer tools, what the different toolbar icons means, what a Navmesh is and more! This episode is the basics, as we progress we will talk about AI behavior, Lighting, Building and more!
