Have an iPhone 6S that's come in all smashed up, so bad that the screen delaminated from the metal backplate.

Summary - this is why it's incredibly important that you back up data from a device the very moment you get the chance (which is why I ended the prior stream so quickly). In spite of the phone working fine enough for me to recover the data before, as soon as it was taken out of its chassis and we tried to find the heat source, it no longer worked, and no luck what so ever trying to track down where the issue is (cracked balls / tracks perhaps )
