Live! Shiny roaming Latios in Pokémon Ruby (RNG Manipulation)
9Will we get the Shiny Latios today?
Unlike the Latios you can catch via the southern island event, this Latios is a roamer, meaning that it will attempt to flee immediately in battle. Additionally, this Pokémon, as the name suggests, will be found roaming around the region of Hoenn. Should it appear shiny, I can simply run from the battle and save. The Latios will stay shiny then.
Due to this being an RNG Manipulation hunt, it's not the usual process of soft resetting until I get lucky. I deduced my trainer ID and secret ID mathematically by using the guide found on smogon's website. This means that should I input these values into a RNG program like Pokéfinder, I am able to guess with absolute precision what kind of Pokémon will be generated on each frame.
No Action Replay or any other cheating software is used. The only software used are the complementary help tools (Eontimer, and Pokéfinder).
The streaming software used is OBS. I record footage using a Dazzle.
