Live SpaceX Launch of Falcon 9 • OneWeb 16
Watch live SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch 40 satellites into orbit for OneWeb, which is developing and deploying a constellation of hundreds of satellites in low Earth orbit for low-latency broadband communications. This will be the second launch of OneWeb satellites with SpaceX, and OneWeb’s 16th launch overall. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will return to Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
SpaceX is targeting Monday, January 9 for a Falcon 9 launch of the OneWeb Launch 16 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for 11:50 p.m. ET (04:50 UTC on January 10).
The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched CRS-26 Following stage separation, the first stage will land on Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
