Living With Disability: Navigating School With an Intellectual Disability
3Being diagnosed with an intellectual disability is already hard enough for someone to overcome at a young age, but that problem is only amplified when they have to navigate through school and college. So many students with an intellectual disability have struggled in higher education as a result of the challenges they face that comes along with having a disability, but there are still ways to help them out. For this Living With Disability, I will be sharing with you why it is difficult for those with intellectual disabilities to get through school and what we can do to ensure they have the best chance to succeed in their education.
