In this short, free video game, we search for Stéphane and navigate train timetables. Lots of navel-gazing. We see this through the eyes of someone who limply flops their right arm around like a dead fish, probably as a nervous tic, though fortunately their watch is also there since they need to check the time pretty often.

The Endless Express is very charming, one of those non-game video games focused on conveying a surreal experience. Still, I think the concept of navigating train schedules could be expanded into a much larger, more interesting experience. Maybe someone will take up the torch someday, but if they do, they will owe some credit to Florian Veltman.

I’ve heard of Subway Adventure from Increpare Games, but I don’t know if it’s actually a larger game, since I don’t know how to get it to run.
