I believe in a Q and A, it was said that this exists as a “What if?” scenario. I suppose it is non-canon, then, though the information on the boss pause screens is. Alternatively, it could be some kind of parallel dimension, a concept clearly established in the Kirby series at this point.

Though it is interesting that Galactca Knight is sealed in a crystal in the end of this part. I wonder if you combine all of his appearances, you could put together a chronology for them. Perhaps the Meta Knight of this dimension sealed him away and later our Meta Knight fought him in Kirby Super Star Ultra?
