This is the fifftysicks entry of my Long Play series. Today we are playing "Red Dead Redemption 2" on the PC though Steam, seventh upload, hence the "#7". and aside from shitty keybindings that seem unchangeable, its pretty good! The story is stellar, and it seems really well balanced in the single player campaign! Online sucks donkey dicks though.
The idea of a long play is, to capture the raw game play experience, with little to no added commentary, effects, jokes, memes, jump cuts, edits or otherwise molest the original game play recording. i believe a long play should not be a review, tutorial, or anything else to effect the experience of the actual game play (that would be the purpose of my "Let's Try Out" or a "let's play" video series). i think mostly this sort of video formula is employed when playing single player only games where story and experience is largely structured, linear, non open world, and non-emergent gameplay.
