This is the longplay of the game Castlevania - Circle of The Moon, known simply as Castlevania in Europe and as Akumajō Dracula Circle of the Moon (悪 魔 城 ド キ ュ ラ Circle of the Moon, Akumajō Dorakyura Sākuru obu za Mūn?) In Japan, an electronic game adventure / action / rpg game created by Konami for Game Boy Advance. The game was released in 2001 and was the first title in the Castlevania series made for GBA. Despite the differences in the various titles, the name of the American version has become the standard used to refer to the game.

In this game, the protagonist is Nathan Graves, whose parents were friends with his teacher, Morris Baldwin. Ten years before the start of the game's events, Nathan's parents defeated Dracula at the cost of their lives. Morris, who was also in battle, managed to survive and made Nathan his pupil.

Nathan trained alongside Hugh Baldwin: Morris's son and his rival for the possession of Hunter Whip. Hugh is jealous of Nathan that his father chose him to be Hunter Whip's successor. However, Nathan does not reciprocate such hatred and usually tries to reach a consensus with him.

The year is 1830. In an ancient Austrian castle, chaos worshipers were trying to revive the Dark Lord, Count Dracula. Vampire hunts Morris Baldwin and his apprentices, Nathan Graves and Hugh Baldwin, learned of the facts and set off on a trip to Castlevania to prevent Count Dracula from resurrecting and using his evil powers. However, they arrived a few seconds after Camilla, a servant of Count Dracula, had already begun the ritual to revive their master.

For Dracula to fully regain his power, he would have to wait for the full moon ritual to complete. Before the group can fight Dracula and seal him again, Dracula destroys the ground below Nathan and Hugh, causing them to fall into a long chasm and leaving Morris alone with Dracula and Camilla. Fortunately, Nathan and Hugh survive the fall. Hugh rushes off to save his father after telling Nathan to leave the castle. Nathan decides not to, as he wanted to rescue his mentor above all. He then explores the wide castle, fighting Dracula's servants along the way.

In addition to having the whip, secondary weapons (cross, dagger, holy water, cross) and equipment dropped by enemies, Nathan will feature a system called DSS ("Dual Set-up System"), whose gameplay mechanics allow the player to unleash various interesting skills by combining two different magic cards: one from "Action" (with the name of Roman gods and goddesses) and one from "Attribute" (cards with mystical creatures). Each combination made in pairs yields several spells.

Castlevania - Circle of The Moon is an extremely special game for me because it was the first GBA game I ever played in 2001, when the game was released and the Game Boy Advance emulation was precarious, as well as having internet dial up and few resources (I played this game for the first time on a 32MB RAM PC and Windows 98) and over the years I followed the even bigger evolution of computers and the internet and 18 years later I record a video of this fantastic game . The video was made in normal mode (VAMPIREKILLER), with all cards, Battle Arena and the entire map completed in 100%.

The video got longer than I expected because I had to go back a few times to find the missing secret passages. In the future I will play the other modes, for now have fun with the game in the traditional mode. Hope you like it.
