This is the longplay of the game Yoshi's Safari, released in 1993, a shooter style game on rails, where Mario, mounted on his faithful friend Yoshi, can shoot the enemies that come his way. The game uses SNES Super Scope to aim at enemies (and be careful not to hit Yoshi).
In Yoshi's Safari, or Yoshi's Road Hunting as it is known in Japan, Mario and Yoshi embark on a journey in search of King Fret and his son Prince Pine of Jewelery Land, a kingdom next to the Mushroom Kingdom. At the beginning of the game we see Princess Peach asking the help of Mario and Yoshi to save their friends who were kidnapped by Bowser.
The video was done in hard mode and was obviously played in an emulator using the mouse. Yoshi's Safari is also the first and only shooting game starring Mario.
