Hagane is a plataform game developed by CAProduction (now Red Entertainment) and published by Hudson Soft in 1994!

The plot of Hagane tells the story of the rivalry of the Fuma and Koma families who for thousands of years sought the supremacy of their powers as main ninja clans from Ancient Japan. The fights between the two clans began by the dispute of one of the sacred relics most looked for by the humanity: the Holy Grail, that according to the legend would guarantee power and immortality to whom it possessed.

After a bloody fight between the two families the Fuma clan acquired the right to guard and protect the relic in its temple, hidden in some remote part of Japan. For several generations the survivors of the Fuma clan swore vengeance, until in the future they managed to steal The Holy Grail and decimate almost every ninja in the Fuma clan.

A ninja Smoke had survived, however, his body was in very serious condition and his chances of recovery were minimal. An old monk named Momochi, managed through the mystic arts to remove the brain of this ninja and put it in a cybernetic ninja armor. Hagane (Lit. "Steel" in Japanese) was born the only remaining remnant of the Fuma clan and would have the mission to retrieve the Holy Grail from the hands of the Koma clan and their minions.

The graphics are dark, the plot is very mature and the gameplay is sensational, a pity to be so short. This is one of the most expensive and rare games of Super Nintendo and this was the low run of produced cartridges. I hope you enjoy the video.
