This is the longplay of the Super Mario RPG game: Legend of The Seven Stars, an RPG game, developed by Square Soft (now Square Enix), together with Nintendo and released in 1996 in Japan and the United States exclusively for the Super Nintendo.

The story of Super Mario RPG begins with Princess Toadstool (Peach in the Japanese version) being kidnapped again by Bowser (King Koopa in the Japanese version). Mario runs to Bowser's castle and saves the princess. However, a giant sword, which has the name of Exor, descends from the heavens and falls directly on Bowser's castle, hurling those in it away. Mario lands at his home, while the fate of the Princess and Bowser is a mystery. Upon returning to Bowser's castle, Mario watches the giant sword tear down the bridge that gives access to the castle. He then decides to look elsewhere for the princess.

On the way, Mario meets Mallow, a cloud resident of "Tadpole Pond" and has a very high level of magic and Geno, a star who has taken over the body of a doll belonging to Gaz (a boy living in the Rose Town) and finds out that this the latter is not of this world. Geno is after the Seven Stars that make up Star Road, which fell to Earth after the fall of Exor. Geno also reveals that the sword is one of Smithy's gang members, the game's main villain.

Later, Mario finds Bowser knocking on the door of Booster Tower, the place where the princess fell, after being thrown by the impact of the giant sword. Bowser is united to Mario to recover its castle and both rescue the Princess. Now the three, along with Mallow and Geno, set out to recover the lost stars and defeat Smithy.

The game world is based on a geographically distinct land, with diverse mountains, rivers and other terrain. Each region has different characteristics according to its inhabitants: the Mushroom Kingdom is inhabited by Toads, Moleville by moles, Monster Town by regenerated monsters, Yoshi Island is where Yoshi and the others of his species live, and Nimbus Land is an inhabited area by people made of cloud. Bowser's castle is another important place in the game, as it houses the portal to the world of the main antagonist.
The game has wonderful graphics, makes use of a special chip called Nintendo SA-1 chip, has a very engaging plot and great challenges. I tried to do everything I could in this video:

- All game chests open
- Completed Sidequests (the only one I forgot was Samus Aran, who unfortunately only appears after getting the 5th star and if she is not visited immediately she will not appear again, unlike Link who remains in the hotel sleeping the whole game. Fortunately this Easter Egg from Samus doesn't add anything very important to the game).
- Fight against Jinx and Culex
- All the best items for each character
- All characters at the highest level and with the best statuses per level.
- Star firework in credits

Super Mario RPG is the first RPG to feature Nintendo's mascot, Mario, and for 7 years, Square's last game on a Nintendo console (until Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, in 2003, when Square resumed its partnership with Nintendo). This is one of the best Super Nintendo games and one of the latest released for the Nintendo 16-bit console. It was a lot of work to encode and publish, but I made this video with love. Hope you like it.
