In this video, Loom, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Lucasfilm.
Bobbin is the only surviving member of the mighty Guild of Weavers who are in charge of moving the very fabric of reality, because a malevolent power is bringing an apocalypse on the world he's living in, by cursing the aforementioned members and trying to destroy the sacred Loom.
We obviously take the role of Bobbin in a quest to save the world with our magical staff the we can use to make wonderful things, like morphing wood into gold or simply light fires. All we have to do is to make the staff sing the right notes.
Graphically the game is superb, with nice animated sprites and cut-scenes. The audio, that plays a big mystical role in this game, is far from being magic, because IMHO it becomes increasingly annoying. The playability is great because of a balanced difficulty and a story well designed even if it is too short.
Here you'll find full intro and gameplay

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.
