Loot Crate Highlights, July 2017: LootCrate Animation
0Loot Crate Highlights time for July 2017! We're making some changes to Loot Crate Highlights this month, because of the amount of changes that Loot Crate have made since the series started. In this one we're looking at a couple of items from the standard crate, as well as some items that I'm jealous of from the other crates.
These are my top 4 highlight items from Loot Crate July 2017, theme of Animation. We're hand-drawn and 2D this month, bending physics around corners. Let me know if you agree/disagree, whether you like the new format and if the Loot Undies are comfy!
Next month I plan on doing a top 5, and taking the Loot Crate DX into consideration - by all accounts it was delayed this month.
This month I also talk about the Secret Order of Keys prize from month 5, and my thoughts on the bonus loot in general.
Loot Crate is a monthly subscription service. Each month, subscribers receive a box full of stuff, with all items linked by a central theme set by Loot Crate. The items are pitched as "Geek and Gamer Loot". This video focuses on Loot Crate July 2017, or Loot Crate Animation. In this crate there were 6 items, which includes the monthly pin and subscriber magazine. The other items, without giving much away, were a recipe book, some stubby holders, a t-shirt and a figurine. The related franchises, in no particular order, were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers and Futurama. The pin will also offer an exclusive item - either something in-game, a comic or book. The magazine will look at each item, have interviews and extras. Additionally, the box itself can be turned inside out and folded into a burger notice board.
Loot Crate now offer a series of online challenges each month, called the Secret Order Of Keys. Subscribers must use the loot from that month to solve challenges and earn keys. Winning all the keys in time means a piece of bonus loot in the next crate.
In addition to the standard crate, Loot Crate offers a line for Anime, Gaming, Pets and Wearables, as well as a Lady's Only line, and special limited edition crates.
