When you notice an item that's light move very rapidly, it's a Ravenous Fascinator, a hidden enemy that will attack you as soon as you try to pick that item up.
Once you know what to look for they are very easy to deal with. Simply Soulfly it with your lantern and it will die leaving some loot behind.
