Developed by Hexworks and published by CI Games, Lords of the Fallen (sometimes stylised as The Lords of the Fallen, or Lords of the Fallen 2) is a dark fantasy RPG set to squeeze in on the masocore genre. A sequel to a game of the same name released in 2023, this title may be mistaken for it's older sibling, so buyer beware if you intend to pick this up.

Lords of the Fallen features the usual staples of this genre, with solid systems that feel like homages to other games. It's umbral shift mechanic, and the enemy encounters it inspires are likely to frustrate or excite gamers, and the success of this title will be determined by which side of that line you fall on.

Footage from Lords of the Fallen (2023), Elden Ring, Armored Core VI and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was recorded on PC at 3840 x 2160. Relevant system specifications are listed below:
CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce RTX 4090
OS Version: Windows 10 (19045.3570)
Nvidia Driver Version: 537.34 & 545.84 (Released 17/10/2023)

Footage from Bloodborne was recorded using the PS4 version, running on PS5 at 2560 x 1440.
