Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - Review
5Part 2 of the Final Fantasy VII (7) Remake series landed as a Playstation 5 exclusive on the 29th of February, 2024. The latest addition to the Final Fantasy franchise is a huge game, with content seeping out of every corner, and one again requiring the physical edition of the game to ship with a "Data Disk" and a "Game Disk."
Rebirth follows Cloud and co after they leave Midgar, and makes some interesting tweaks to the original Final Fantasy VII story. There are new additions to the party, and some new mechanics, but the biggest appeal is the continuation of the story that's based on the game that turned entire generation of 90s kids into Final Fantasy fans.
The footage from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy XVI was recorded on PS5 at 2560x1440 in Performance mode, while the footage from Final Fantasy VII Remake was recorded on the PS4 version of the game, running at 2560x1440 on PS5.
Footage from FFVII was recorded using the Steam version of the game on PC at 4k.
