From Software's high-speed mech-building RPG stormed onto the scene this August to prove that the Japanese studio's talents for the painfully difficult, don't necessarily rely on pace-destroying encounters against amorphos blobs - looking at you Bloodborne. AC VI: FoR proves that player choice and customisation can sell a game, while the rapid-paced combat can make it an interesting addition to any collection that had me hooked.

Footage from Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Elden Ring and Monster Hunter Rise (Sunbreak) were recorded on PC at 3840 x 2160. Relevant system specifications are listed below:
CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce RTX 4090
OS Version: Windows 10 (19045.3324)
Nvidia Driver Version: 537.13 (Released 22/8/2023)

Footage from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and NieR: Automata were recorded using the PS4 versions of those games, running on PS5 at 2560 x 1440.
