Lori Cole (lead designer of Quest for Glory, Mixed-Up Fairy Tales, Shannara, and Hero-U) collaborated with author Mishell Baker (The Arcadia Project) on the unpublished Young Adult novel, "How To Be A Hero: By the Book."

Hawk, Falcon, Owl, and Wren are four orphans trying to find their destiny in a hostile land. Hawk helps a young Gypsy boy and is rewarded with a strange book, "How To Be A Hero." If he follows the book's advice, life will soon change for all of them.

In this chapter, "Two Birds In A Bush," Falcon arrives at Siegburg. Hawk expects him to be excited about Hawk's heroism, but Falcon has other ideas.
