Lorin's position as God is apparently a recent thing that may have happened in a previous Abyss game. She wants to create a world where all the species can live in peace, but there's still some tension. Luna calls her over to the Demon World to discuss an abnormality with the Dimensional Inhibitor in the Heaven World.

I didn't notice until now that we can get multiple conversations out of everyone at the base. There needs to be a visual indicator for how many conversations are left.
30:53 Black Island Roadblock
For some reason, the game will no longer unlock Moonlit Steeple after I beat Reina on Black Island. I think the achievement system might be glitched, since the achievement file is separate from individual saves for some reason. Worse yet, jumping back to an earlier save on Mikoto's route doesn't solve the problem. That means some kind of global save file got messed up.

I decided to just start Alice's route, since I don't think the dialogue after the first half of the game is going to be that special anyways.
Alice and Mia live in the Netherworld and live a fairly easygoing life of collecting grimoires. Alice wants to travel to another world for research, but decides to go to a forest to gather herbs with Mia first.

Since the boss is from the True World, Alice is able to use its core to complete her spell to enter the True World.

Instead of lore about the Earth Astra, we get some comments from Alice about Mia.

The two break some doors down to find everyone turned to stone. Mikoto and Inari arrive a bit later and join the party.
54:07 Closing Thoughts
Sadly, this game doesn't have a lot of character development for the party members after the halfway point. The gameplay is alright though.
