There are multiple missing mechanics that you do not see on this fight - I explain them at the end of the video as well as here. Read the Description

4 Orbs (P2 (won't happen below 30x bars) - there will be 4 orbs at the cardinal directions (NESW) and they pulse and the pulses can overlap - have 4 ppl grab an orb and 1 person counter Valtan as Valtan will do a counter.

60x Bar Counter - Valtan will charge up a counter attack after spawning the void zones - you need to counter this otherwise your grabbed and he'll run to edge of the room and continue to knock you into the ground until he is countered

Slash, Whirlwind, Cone attack (won't happen below 30x bars) - basically if u see a slash then a whirldwind - he'll immediately turn 180 and slam behind him - just move to the left or rights

Triple Counter (In p2 won't happen after 30x) - you need to counter him 3 times - in hard mode for the 2nd and 3rd counter - orbs will spawn and follow players - if they hit a player, they will pulse as the counter needs to be done. Also, whoever counters Valtan will have a silence aura - basically you have one person in to counter and the counter person goes left and the new person comes in from the right.

Also, be aware that if you have an orb chasing you when going in for a counter - make sure you kite it away before you go in. Gunlancers are really good at this

Bash Ground then Edge Mech (can happen after 30x and in ghost phase)- Basically be behind him and you have to move out slightly and move back in slightly - if you're at the front. you have to dodge out then move back in with an ability. He'll bash the inside first then the outside second always.

Axes (In p2 won't do it after 30x - he'll do 3 axes then land somewhere - you need to get to that somewhere or take damage

Axe Raise (In P2 - not discussed in video - will not do after 30x) - Valtan raises his axe and it will hit the ground - where you need to be will depend on 2 things

If his axe is glowing - you run away from him/the axe (preferrably behind him or left n right as he'll strike infront of him with the axe) then dodge immediately after to avoid the void zone. Once the axe hits the ground - he'll spawn a void zone.

If his axe isn't glowing - stack up on where the axe will hit (infront of him) and then dodge immediately as a void zone will spawn when the axe hits the ground - failing to dodge after it has hit the ground will result in your death (as void zones will stack up on where you were as the attack hit).

This boss takes a lot of practice, don't be disappointed if you don't one shot it.
