This exceptionally long Side Case is triggered by Amasawa messaging you while killing some time, so head to the MRC talk to her. Both her and the game will give you a warning that it'll be long and you'll be locked into this Side Case until it is done, so be prepared for that!

Once you accept, she'll go get one of her classmates, Shimada, and together they'll explain the issue, a seemingly-cursed cat statue formerly belonging to... Kitan Amasawa, Kyoko Amasawa's late grandfather who died in an accident related to the statue.

As it turns out, Shimada's father got his hands on that statue, and since then, misfortune keeps striking the family, leading credence to the curse...

Amasawa will accompany you on the quest for the truth here, hence why you can't do anything else in the meantime. First, go to Plage to meet the father and get additional information, as well as the statue itself.

Then head to Ebisu Pawn Shop where the curse will apparently strike as a fire breaks out! Though as some investigation points out, it's probably closer to arson than to an ancient curse...

After that, it's time to have some fun to hopefully draw out a stalker, so you're off to play darts! And after an enjoyable game of it, the batting center awaits! Knocking some balls around will pass the time well, and attract your mark. Slip out the back of the building and put on a costume when prompted before approaching your stalker.

Of course, he won't go quietly, so beat him up good, then examine the statue, the eyes and the neck, to be exact. After that, interrogate the man to uncover the full truth behind this case...
