They've been missing for almost thirty years, but by a strange twist of fate the medals of one of Ireland's most famous soldiers have finally been found. General Sir Oliver Nugent commanded the 36th Ulster Division in the Somme during The First World War. Until recently it was thought his decorations were lost in a car crash. But a recent house clearance dashed that theory, and they've now been handed over to the Museums of the Royal Irish Regiments for safe keeping.
