This is Obaro's side quest. Like Galda's, this quest is triggered in a very odd way. For Obaro, you have to be on your boat and approach the southern island (in the middle). Approach it from the dock to the north, and this quest will start (you'll know you did it right when a cut-scene takes over).

Who the heck is Odeon? Huh... Obaro will ask Kanata to accompany him to the "Mech Graveyard Ragness" after hearing this, telling us that his archenemy is waiting for us. What, through time? Weird.

Well, Ragness can be found on that southern island (it is the big pyramid). Go ahead and enter it. Witness the scenes here and we'll be back on the boat soon. Obaro will explain who Odeon is here and share his back-story. Enjoy the dialog! In the end, we will have to go back to Ragness Ruins to continue, but pay attention to the note below.

NOTE:
BEFORE you go into the ruins, eat some food that increases max HP. It will definitely help. Fowl Fry from Elgarthe is a pretty good meal. Also, be sure to SAVE!

Head back to Ragness to continue. Enjoy the many scenes and dialog here. As much progress as we make, however, you do have a fight, so be ready for it!
BOSS: Odeon

Odeon is a straight-up slugging match of a boss battle. He just has a ton of HP and a bunch of spells. In fact, Odeon pretty much just has the same attacks Obaro has. This means you want to make all of your party members stand away from each-other, otherwise Odeon is just going to hit multiple people with spells like Flame and Aqua at the same time. He can also use spells like Spark and Poison. Pretty much anything Odeon can use.

These spells can hit HARD as well. 300+ damage easily. This was the first boss fight in awhile that killed some people, so hopefully that food tip above helps you out more than it did for BK! Still, this is a lot of damage, so be ready to heal and resurrect (Sherra is a good pick for this battle if you've been using her). Also beware of the poison effect from Odeon's Venom attack. Heal that right away or it will tick for a few hundred damage.
Other than those tips though, keep piling on damage and buffs. Make sure to get "Mar. Down" on your target if you can (the momentum spritnite "Mind Down" on a skill is one easy way to do this). We can't do much more than that though, as Odeon is immune to poison and slow (being a machine, I guess...). Keep your health up and slug it out to come out on top in this fight.

After the fight, we'll obtain the CHRONO SPRITNITE and the quest will be over.
