To start this side quest (read the note below!), head to the Imperial Palace and head to just outside of the Throne Room, where you will find Plana. Go ahead and talk to her to start this quest.

NOTE:
Do not talk to Amatsu while you do this! Do not attempt to do this Side Quest if you have started one already (it may not trigger if you do).

After a scene with Plana, we'll have a destination to visit: Los Labyrinth. Ugh, that place. This won't be too bad, but make sure you have a good healing supply on you (you'll want at least two party members who can heal quite a bit).

As you remember, Los Labyrinth is north of the capital (more northeast). It's on the upper portion of the continent, on the southeast tip. Head in from this location.

Once you are inside, use your vulcosuit to use the teleporter. In the new area take the right block in the next room (after the pathetic fight) and go right, to the northeast to the area with four stand-alone blocks for a scene.

This scene... is rather weird. It almost seems like we're being saved, really? Very odd...

Once you regain control, head right first (you could go left, but it is a step back, so don't bother). If you go right you can take a block to continue and kill a group of weak enemies. Take the next block to go left and then go up the stairs to push a button. Use the block you freed to continue north to find the Emperor's Lab for some scenes.

Moon's Soul Spritnite, huh? That's what we should be looking for. I agree, Kanata! Jump into your suit and break the blocks to the northeast, then continue on to the next teleporter.

This next place looks ominous. Head forward for a scene, and then talk to your party members as they show up. Lots of dialog here as Kanata faces his insecurity. In the end, you'll come to with Van's help. Enjoy the scenes that follow and we'll be thrown into a boss fight!
BOSS: Omega Krom

This fight is almost like a re-match against Krom... except he's a bit tougher now and we didn't have to blast away his shield to get at him!

A lot of these moves are the same though, so go into a box formation like last time to help yourself (this will protect you from his front-facing attacks, like "Stab" and "Lacerate"). As for his moves, he will use "Elevate" to fly off (doing 100-150 damage) and from there will either use his "Dark Wing" or "Black Dive" move. Dark Wing does about the same damage as taking off does (100-150 damage) while Black Dive has Omega Krom drilling his lance down to do 20-40+ damage to everyone four times. No matter what move he does though, he will land and do 5-10 damage multiple times (petty damage, but... darn...).

Omega Krom can also use his Tail Roll attack (50-70 damage to everyone), a move called "Terrimpact" (which does 250 damage to everyone) and finally moves (called "Contempt") that give him "Physical Shield" and "Magical Shield" (which are mostly just annoying).

As you can see, there's a lot of things Omega Krom can do, a lot of which you can negate with Love Axiom moves or dedicated healing (X Heal, Shining, Locke's item skill, etc...). Just keep on top of healing during this fight and you should be able to whittle him down with time.
When he gets low on health, be sure to heal up to full and use defensive moves (Kanata's Guardian, Dianto's various buffs). He will use his "Final Bang" attack as a dying attack, doing 200-350 damage. Once you survive it though, you have won this fight. Congrats!

Once the battle is won, head back and use the left elevator at the spot we were warped to. It will lead you back to the lower area, where you can then go north to get out of the dungeon.

Head back to Plana now and we'll get a scene. Once it is over, we'll have the MOON'S SOUL SPRITNITE, which is Kanata's ultimate skill. Congrats on finishing Kanta's side quest!

NOTE:

You can take that Spritnite to the Magic Consortium to unlock the LOST SAVIOR SPRITNITE. Congrats again!
