The Revelation Depths, where you can really go deep. The area is reminiscent of forgotten mining tunnels that lead to a cave system with huge cavities. But what I miss here is water, shouldn't there be plenty of groundwater in the depths? It would have been nice to include this here. Arelion (my Hallowed Knight) slowly works his way down through all kinds of ambushes and traps, this time with the Hallowed Knight short sword again (I find it soooo hard to decide). There aren't that many enemies here, but they're very meanly placed so there's never any easy prey. But slowly I know where everything is and can take Arelion quite safely down to the boss of this area (Harrower Dervla the Pledged Knight).
I had expected more problems with Dervla, but phase 1 went surprisingly well with the shield. I even realised that you can avoid them quite well, you often don't even have to dodge. What annoys me as a melee fighter is of course magic and being constantly pushed away. I'm always surprised that opponents can even knock me out of heavy attacks, which supposedly can't be interrupted thanks to the eye in the lamp. I, on the other hand, can rarely interrupt an opponent. Well, rules in games rarely apply to everyone, usually always to the disadvantage of the player.
