0Testing an old (but unused) 12v automotive ignition coil with an ICL8038 PWM circuit controlling an IRFZ44 MOSFET. Playing with all manner of high voltage transformers and oscillator circuits as part of my electronics hobby.
I got both the coil and circuit off eBay. I'm hoping to do some more exciting high voltage stuff in the near future including Tesla coils, TV flyback drivers, corona motors, Marx generators, etc.
