Hey, just found this nifty little game on Steam for, like, one dollar, so I thought to give it a go and see how well I do. It took me a couple of tries before I realized that the game was wanting me to think outside the box when it came to every decision point, by not always responding with one the available choices at all and instead making another move, and that the letter at the end was the girlfriend approving or disapproving of my choices with green or red text, respectively, so that I could learn on what not to say or do and try again with something different. It was an interesting mechanic, for instance, finding out on my second try that not doing anything at all during the "argument" sequence was the correct move, as though by not clicking on anything I was actually de-escalating the situation instead of yammering on and only making things worse (I was confused the first time by the nonsensical dialogue box that you could click on).

What you see in the video is my fifth attempt. Hopefully any lady viewers of mine will approve of my valiant attempts to do right by an AI girlfriend ^_^ , even though I still didn't quite get it 100% (I never figured out how to do the part where we talk on the phone about our interests and feelings correctly on my own).

NOTE: I skipped showing the mini-game a few minutes in where I have to decide on what restaurant to suggest for the first date. It was kinda dumb.
