At least once a year, Nathan is obligated to play a dating simulator. Last year, it was Doki Doki LIterature Club on the suggestion of Alex. This year, it's Lovers of Aether on suggestion of DC. But, oh, this is completely different in tone and intent.
Released on April 1st, likely as a joke, Lovers of Aether asks if the characters from Rivals of Aether were in high school and available to take to the Homecoming Dance. Of course, Nathan has never played Rivals of Aether, so that really doesn't factor in here. What does factor in is how much absurd dialogue permeates this game.
Listen as Nathan, joined on stream by Alex and DC, navigates the pitfalls of the high school social scene and mostly fails.
