Call of Cthulhu | Attempting To Play
Lovecraftian horror arrives on consoles with Call of Cthulhu. And the madness is very real, mostly through the frustration of the stealth mechanics, the annoying insta-kill enemies and the relative lack of tension. Also, an absence of player choice makes you feel like you're mostly wandering down a dark corridor to find a clerk's office that tells you to walk back down the dark corridor to find a notary and then grab Form 155B from the trans-dimension horror registry before you can proceed. But, hey, Nathan finished it, so it couldn't be THAT bad.
